Shalin Bhanot is a prominent Indian actor and television personality known for his work in Hindi TV serials and reality shows. He has had a career spanning over two decades, marked by diverse roles and public scrutiny of his personal life.

Shalin Bhanot was born on November 15, 1983, in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. He comes from a business family, with his parents being Sunita and Brijmohan Bhanot. Despite his family's business background, he chose a different path in the entertainment industry. He is known for his passion for fitness and dance, and he also received acting training from Hollywood coach Michelle Danner.

Shalin's career began with a bang in 2004 as a contestant on MTV Roadies 2. He quickly transitioned to acting, appearing in a number of television serials.

• Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar (2005-2006): He played the role of Karan, which helped establish him as an actor.
• Kulvaddhu (2006-2007): He gained further recognition for his role as Agni.
• Nach Baliye 4 (2008-2009): A major turning point in his career, he won the dance reality show with his then-wife, Dalljiet Kaur. Their win, presented by Shah Rukh Khan, came with a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 50 lakhs.
• Suryaputra Karn (2015-2016): He received acclaim for his portrayal of the mythological character Duryodhana.
• Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush (2019-2020): He was seen in the mythological series in the role of Ravan.
• Bigg Boss 16 (2022-2023): His participation in this reality show made him a household name. He finished as a finalist, placing 5th. During the finale, he was offered the lead role in the fictional show Bekaboo by producer Ekta Kapoor, which he accepted.
• Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 (2024): He recently competed in this stunt-based show, finishing in 4th place.
• Inspector Avinash (2023): He also featured in this web series, playing the character of Inspector Baljit Singh.

Shalin Bhanot's personal life has often been a subject of public attention, particularly his marriage and divorce from actress Dalljiet Kaur. The couple married in 2009 and had a son, Jaydon, in 2014. Their marriage ended in a controversial divorce in 2015, with Kaur publicly accusing Bhanot of domestic violence. While they are officially divorced, their strained relationship continues to be a point of discussion, especially regarding their son's well-being and Bhanot's alleged absence from his life.
